About Me

Rooted in a family of photographers and architects, I’ve always been a maker at heart. I began my career in architecture but was quickly drawn to the digital space, captivated by how visuals, sound, and haptics can influence perception and shape human experience. From interactive media to motion design, I’ve been fascinated by the power of technology to tell stories, educate, and drive action.

After relocating from Washington, D.C. to the West Coast, I started in entertainment design at Warner Brothers, crafting one-sheets and interactive menus. That experience inspired me to co-found Group 22, an interactive agency in Manhattan Beach, CA. We started with entertainment and toy clients, then expanded into healthcare, experiential, and automotive industries. Alongside agency work, I taught interactive design at USC and supported local charities through creative contributions.

In 2015, my wife and I moved to Silicon Valley to pursue careers in tech—she joined LinkedIn, and I joined Ford Motor Company, where I led the autonomous vehicle digital design team. I managed a multidisciplinary group of UX, interaction, visual, motion, and sound designers, as well as content strategists and copywriters.

Naturally analytical and a lifelong gadget enthusiast, I’ve found my foundation in UX—where creativity meets problem-solving. Today, I live in Southern California with my wife and our two boys, Brandon and Connor.
